To the School Principal and Management,
We, the undersigned parents and guardians, ask the school to address concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of student washrooms as a matter of priority.
Children have reported dirty toilets, toilets left unflushed, water pooling on the floor, and insufficient cleaning during the school day. Some children have said that they avoid using the school washrooms and hold on until they return home because of these conditions. These are reports shared by children with their families, and we ask the school to investigate promptly.
We respectfully request thorough cleaning and disinfection, frequent documented inspections throughout the day, prompt attention to standing water and faulty facilities, and a reliable supply of soap, toilet paper and hand-drying materials. We also ask for age-appropriate reminders about flushing, handwashing and considerate use of shared facilities.
Please confirm the actions being taken, the person responsible for monitoring washroom standards, and the expected timeframe for improvements. We would appreciate a written response within five school days of receiving this petition.
Our shared aim is to ensure that every child can use clean, safe and properly maintained washrooms comfortably throughout the school day. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
